1. Purpose

Urban Net's residential plans are designed for normal household use across multiple devices. The Fair Usage Policy (FUP) ensures that no single connection negatively impacts others on the network.

2. Residential use only

Plans listed on this site are residential plans. Commercial use — including resale of bandwidth, hosting public services, or use in shops, offices and PG accommodations — requires a dedicated commercial plan.

3. Excessive usage

Sustained traffic patterns far exceeding typical residential use may be reviewed. Urban Net may engage with the customer, recommend a suitable plan, or, in extreme cases, temporarily shape speeds to protect other users.

4. Prohibited use

Customers must not use Urban Net services for unlawful activity, network abuse, DDoS, spam, copyright infringement, or any traffic that violates Indian law.

5. Society / shared connections

Sharing a single residential plan across multiple flats or units is not permitted. Each household must subscribe to its own plan; society common-area Wi-Fi requires a dedicated society plan.

6. Action for violations

Violations may lead to warnings, plan upgrades, temporary suspension or termination. Urban Net reserves the right to act in line with applicable laws and these terms.
